Most sports activities required quick and repetitive movements, that puts Musculo-skeletal structure at risk of injuries. Our experienced physiotherapists provide treatment to reduce inflammation and pain in acute phase, and work towards return to sport activities at pre-injury level. Most surgical orthopedic procedures required rehabilitation to restore normal mechanics and function of injured part of body and whole body. Our rehabilitation not only focus on operated part but also whole body which may affect the joint and muscle biomechanics on uninjured area.
Initial phases of post-surgical rehabilitation help to resolve pain, minimize swelling, restore mobility and strength. This will then move on to later stage rehabilitation to restore physical function, return to sport and assist with prevention of compensatory problems.
Post-operative rehabilitation focuses on giving safe and effective exercise at appropriate times after surgery to facilitate healing and restore normal function. We use the latest and best evidence-based treatment protocols and closely working with relevant orthopaedic specialists for their progress of rehabilitation.
We may also deal with pre-operative cases, where an individual is awaiting surgery and may need some advice regarding safe and appropriate exercise programmes for preparing your body for surgery. This is beneficial to regain some movement and maintain strength before surgery.
Good global posture is an indicator of good musculoskeletal health. Yet prevalence and incidence of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders are reaching pandemic proportions. Our Posture Scan Lab helps identifying incorrect body positions and making targeted corrections for prevention of pain and injuries. Our highly accurate system accurately analyses static and dynamic posture that assists making correct clinical decision to help our patients.

If you are just starting to run or have been running for a while but plan on increasing your training intensity, frequency, or duration, then it is vital to have a running analysis and go through a thorough conditioning program. A running analysis will improve your efficiency and thus make you faster. It will also help reduce the risk of pain and injury. Of course, if you are already feeling pain while running, then modifying your running style can change the stress on sensitive soft tissue structures and reduce pain.
We treat a full range of running injuries including ankle pain, calf muscle pain, hamstring injuries, hip pain, knee pain, lower back pain and mid back pain. We can offer biomechanical running assessment for recreational and athlete assessment looking to improve running performance and prevent injuries. When you attend the running analysis clinic you will have an session with physio where your running gait will be recorded on our treadmill using the latest movement analysis software. Your strength and flexibility will also be assessed. Your aims and goals will also be discussed.
Our most qualified physiotherapist will teach you specific running drills, stretches and strengthening exercises along with the development of a running program, so that you can meet your specific goals.
A second 1 hour follow up session in 2-3 weeks will allow for your running technique to be re-assessed to evaluate your progression.
